23 Weeks

Today is the first day of week twenty-three and as I type this I'm laid out on the couch with my feet propped up watching Duck Dynasty. (That show is hilarious! Have ya'll seen it?)

There's some weird stuff going on with my baby cooking body. Weird like I'm itchy. More specifically my arms are itchy. More specifically my armpits are itchy. I'm talking so itchy I don't wanna wear deodorant! (TMI? Yes? Ok, I won't tell you sometimes I don't shave. For a week.)

On a positive note, I'm having the best hair week of my life. I don't know if it's the cooler weather (humidity ain't my hair's friend), the fact I've been three days without conditioner, or maybe the cold-as-ice rinse I've been finishing my shower with. Who knows? I like it.

I've gained 10.4 pounds during this operation so far and this little critter is now the size of an ear of corn or a cantaloupe. Corn/cantaloupe got the hiccups Sunday night so that was pretty fun.

In the "this really sucks" category I have had some pretty intense round ligament pain today. Like, hurting so bad I couldn't get myself out of bed this morning, Boots had to push me out of the bed so I could get up. The pain finally eased up a few hours later and in a moment of stupidity I went up the stairs at the funeral home and that sure fired it up again. Fun, real fun.

Duck Dynasty is AWESOME! It's my guilty pleasure for sure.

I can guarantee - you will have alot more funky things happen to your body before the baby shows up. Fun...I know!

BTW - you look fantastic (and so does your hair).
